The Betting on the Dog Book Review

Deirdre McManus has been quoted as saying that Betting on the Dog is one of the best books I have read this year. It is a well written, candid and honest account of the Betting on the Dog phenomenon and how it effected the lives of so many people. Not only are the people affected by the same but the family members of the victims are also depicted in the book in an unflattering light.

This book tells the true story of how people got hooked on a website that promised to pay players for every bet they placed in a game of poker. I did not know it was possible to be paid to place bets on a card game until I read Deirdre's account of her experience with the site. She describes a haphazard set up with players being paid through check and cash every week. This allowed the owners to evade taxes and disappear into the night leaving many players feeling betrayed.

She writes about finding free megastocks to place bets with and even going as far as selling things like used CD's and the like to buy those Megastocks which would allow them to play. If you are interested in learning how to make money online, you may want to read this book. If you are a seasoned veteran in the field this may daftar situs judi bola resmi dan terpercaya interest you and if you are new to the concept you may be interested in learning more.

The book is divided into four sections, the first of which is entitled The Road to Betting on the Dog; this gives some background information and gives a glimpse of what the internet can do for you. There is also a brief discussion of some of the cards which were available in the Betting on the Dog world. This is followed by sections dealing with Betting on the Dog and Betting Sites and both sections are detailed and enlightening. In The Politics of Betting on the Dog market experts are also discussed. The second section titled Betting Sites covers a few of the different online sites and an extensive review of each. The next section, The Betting on the Dog Franchise is in which Deirdre McManus focuses on the deadly addiction the Betting on the Dog franchise had on so many unsuspecting players.

Following this section is a section called The Management Issues section which describes how a sudden withdrawal of powerful drugs at the site caused the founder to sue his programmers in order to keep his server running. This section also mentions other games which the Betting on the Dog franchise was involved in.

Finally there is a section titled The People in this section who claim they lost money or had bad experiences with the betting games and some of the people who stayed with the site and recovered their losses. The last section is titled Closing and discusses some other sites that offer betting games.

As you can see this book covers all types of gambling sites. The best part is that the author is a former player of the Betting on the Dog site and gives a candid and honest account of her experiences. This book can be easily obtained online as well as at your local bookstore.
